Why is there a travel charge?
Because the coast is a long strip, not a compact city. A therapist travelling to Mtwapa or across the ferry spends time on the road that cannot be spent treating anyone else. We show that separately rather than burying it in the session rate.
How much does physiotherapy cost in Mombasa?
Our rates are above. Elsewhere they vary by practitioner and setting, and the figure worth comparing is sessions multiplied by rate rather than the price of a single visit.
Do you sell treatment packages?
No. You pay per session. How many sessions you need is a clinical judgement made as we go, not a decision taken at the point of sale.
Is the clinic cheaper than a home visit?
Yes, by the travel component. But if you cannot drive after surgery, or the journey involves a ferry queue, the home visit is often better value, because a course of treatment that stops at week three has cost you everything spent and delivered a fraction of the result.
Do you take insurance?
We provide itemised receipts suitable for claims. Whether your policy reimburses physiotherapy depends on your cover, check with your insurer before booking.
