The northern limit, and why we say so
Malindi is two hours from our Nyali clinic. We cover it because provision here is thin and the need is real, not because the journey makes sense.
That honesty matters more than a booking. If you need frequent hands-on treatment over months, a local practitioner will serve you better, and where one exists we will point you to them.
Where a scheduled visit does work
A proper assessment. Getting the diagnosis right, and leaving a written programme, has lasting value even from one visit. A great deal of the poor recovery we see comes from nobody ever having examined the problem properly.
Concentrated blocks. Several sessions across a few consecutive days rather than spread thinly over months.
Older residents. Malindi has a large retired and expatriate population. Falls-risk assessment, a walk through the house, and a programme the family can run is high-value work that does not need weekly attendance.
Post-surgical patients discharged from Mombasa who have been sent home with a protocol and nobody to carry it out.

Two hours away, is this actually practical?
For some things, yes. A thorough assessment with a written programme, a course concentrated into a scheduled block, or a resort day covering several patients all work. Twice-weekly hands-on treatment for three months does not, and we will tell you that rather than take the booking and let it lapse at week three.
Do you cover Watamu on the same trip?
Yes. Malindi, Watamu and Gede are run as one scheduled day, which is what makes the distance viable at all.
My elderly parent lives in Malindi. Can you assess them?
Yes, and this is one of the cases where a single visit genuinely helps: assessing falls risk, going through the house, and leaving a programme the family can carry out. Malindi has a substantial retired and expatriate population and very little local provision.
